Event programs are the single most important element in the delivery of member services as they provide the chamber with a means to communicate directly with our members.
Throughout the course of the year, the Assiniboia Chamber of Commerce will host a wide variety of events for its members. These events are usually in one of three categories:
- Major Annual Events - a series of major events that, while engaging members, provides an opportunity to generate revenue for the chamber. Annual events in this category include:
- Chamber Golf event (summer)
- Small Business Conference (February)
- Annual General Meeting, Awards, and Trade Show (May)
- Seasonal gathering/events (Quarterly)
- Major Speaker on key business topics (When available)
- Member Education Events (Member CAMPUS)
- Once a month sessions on Business management
- Once a month sessions on Professional development
- Quarterly mentoring sessions (Member MENTORS)
- Member Service Events
- New Member Orientation sessions
- How to leverage your membership sessions
- Member Morning Mixers with decision makers
- Member Launch programs
- Member Highlight program
- Member Trade shows (when appropriate)
The chamber is ever mindful of the traditional way chamber's have operated (where you pay a membership fee and then have to pay to access any of the events or programs). The Assiniboia Chamber of Commerce is sensitive to this old format, and is dedicated to offering as many of these event programs to members at cost or free of charge (as a benefit to membership).
