• 2026 Civic Forums

  • The Assiniboia Chamber of Commerce was proud to host two Civic Election Forums during the 2026 municipal elections.

    • Waverley West Ward (Sunday, September 27 | Whyte Ridge Community Centre)
    • St. James and Charleswood-Tuxedo-Westwood Wards (Monday, September 28 | Birchwood Inn)

These complimentary public forums provided residents, business owners, and community members with an opportunity to hear directly from candidates seeking election to Winnipeg City Council. Candidates shared their priorities for their wards, participated in moderated discussions, and answered questions submitted by the Chamber and members of the public.

We thank all candidates who participated, as well as everyone who attended and contributed to the discussions. Your engagement helped make these forums a success and demonstrated the importance of informed, community-focused dialogue during the election process.
