Our new Executive Director

This summer, the Assiniboia Chamber of Commerce introduced our new Executive Director, Ron Greasley.

Ron has years of experience working in the not-for-profit and advertising industries. He has prepared brands, and media campaigns for local, provincial and national organizations in a wide variety of industry segments and has helped dozens of not-for-profits develop long-term strategic and marketing plans.

In addition, he has spent many years running his own small business, and as a result, understands the needs and the challenges now faced by our business community.

Throughout his career, Ron has been a long-time supporter of chamber services, having served on the board and committees on three separate chambers. He believes in the power of a chamber to unite small business in a community, and is committed to ensuring the Assiniboia Chamber is focused on the needs of its members, by focusing on three key offerings:

• Providing programs/services that help members succeed
• Providing direct access to political/business decision-makers
• Providing access to resources/information members may not normally have.

In the short time he has been here, Ron has spent his time meeting with our members - to understand their needs and to hear their concerns. Those meetings have led to the development of a new Suite of Member Services, that are being launched this fall!
