SUMMARY:Sharing A Message of Hope and Truth in The Journey Towards Reconciliation
DESCRIPTION:In June of 2021\, 751 unmarked graves were found on the former site of the Marieval Indian Residential School site on the Cowessess First Nation. Since the tragic discovery\, Delorme has been travelling the country to speak out about the importance of the role Canadian's play in the path towards truth and reconciliation.\n\n\n\nThe St. James Assiniboia School Division invites our community partners to this no charge event to learn from the message that was shared with all staff at the opening day Divisional Inservice.\n\n\n\nThrough a shared experience\, we can grow our communities' understanding of what we have inherited and the actions we can collectively take toward reconciliation.\n\n\n\nCadmus Delorme is a nationally recognized speaker and leader and has served two terms as the Chief of Saskatchewan's Cowessess First Nation.
