SUMMARY:Community Town Hall: St. James Civic Centre Expansion Project
DESCRIPTION:*This event will be held in-person (maximum 50 registrants) and will be streamed on Facebook Live using the Assiniboia Chamber and St. James Assiniboia 55+ Centre's individual Facebook pages.*\n\n\n\nThe proposed project involves an expansion of the St. James Civic Centre with an approximately 14\,000-square-foot addition. This includes several multi-purpose program and meeting rooms\, as well as dedicated administrative space for St. James Assiniboia 55+. Additional facility renovations include improvements to the auditorium\, main building entry\, washrooms\, and development of a community kitchen.\n\n\n\nThis town hall will highlight:\n\n	the multi-generational facility supporting the recreation corridor in West Winnipeg\n	the support from the business community\n	the goals of the St. James Assiniboia 55+ Centre\n	the timeline - where we are at and what needs to be done to get this project moving forward  \n\n Speakers:\n\n\n	Kathy Roberts\, Municipal Accommodations\, Planning\, Property and Development Department. All rules and guidelines will be in practice at all our functions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
